Infiniti Cars – History and More
It is the luxury vehicle division of Japanese automobile manufacturer Nissan that has been present in the market for more than 2.5 decades now. The company started selling vehicles in November of 1989 in North America. The company serves vehicles all around the world and is headquartered in Hopewell Center, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
Surprisingly, the brand name was first introduced into the homeland very recently, i.e., in 2013.
The Infiniti badge is a stylized representation of a road extending into the horizon, stretching to “Infiniti”.
Presently Available Infiniti Car Models
There are number of Infiniti car models that are available in the market today. Quite understandably, most of the cars from the automaker are based on Nissan FM platform, where the center of the engine is placed behind the front wheels. Some of the models that company discontinued over the period of time include M30, QX4, J30, I30, I35, and Q45. While M30 was available as a coupe and convertible trims, the QX4 was an SUV, J30, I30, I35, and Q45 were sedans.
