Both the latest models of A3 and A4 have come up with time. Audi has been producing the A3 since 2007 with newer models introduced almost every year except 2014. The current new Audi A3 2017 model is a sedan that is available in 9 different trims. Talking about A4, it has also been in the market since 2007, with newer models introduced every year thereafter. The current 2017 Audi A4 is a 4-door sedan available in 6 different trims.
Both the A3 and A4 have been introduced previously in different styles. The 2016 A3 is also available as a cabriolet, but we would be reviewing the sedan style here.

Designing & Styling – Exterior
The new Audi A3 2017 has an overall length and breadth of 175 in and 70.7 in, respectively. With a wheelbase of 103.8 inches, it stands 55.8 inches tall. The 13.2 gallon fuel tank capacity gives it a highway cruising range of around 435 miles. It has an estimated combined fuel economy of about 27 miles/gallon. The in-city fuel economy is estimated to be 23 miles/gallon.
The dimensions, fuel tank capacity, and fuel economy of the 2017 Audi A4 haven’t been confirmed yet, but are estimated to be somewhere around the previous year model, with minor changes here and there.
Interior – Technology & Other Major Features
Moving inside the Audi 3 under review, you get bunch of technologies to stare at and use. With ample seating capacity for 5 fully-grown people, it also offers trunk volume of 12.3 cubic feet.
In terms of entertainment, you get a radio with almost all the features you can ask for along with steering-mounted controls and radio data system with audio theft deterrent. Along with 1 LCD monitor in the front, you get seamless Bluetooth wireless connectivity and window grid diversity antenna.

Coming to the 2017 Audi A4, in terms of entertainment, you get an Audi sound system with full-featured radio, 10 speakers, audio theft deterrent, wireless streaming with Bluetooth, and 1 LCD monitor.
Other major interior features include 8-way powered front seats and 4-way powered lumbar for driver, 40-20-20 ratio folding rear seat, push button start, ashtray, front cigar lighter, compass, remote keyless entry with integrated key transmitter, remote releases for power trunk, illuminated entry & panic button, HomeLink garage door transmitter, day-night auto-dimming rearview mirror, manual anti-whiplash adjustable front & rear head restraints, etc.
Safety Features in new Audi A3 2017 and 2016 Audi A4
Audi is known to produce some of the world’s safest cars. Along with all the standard safety features, here are some extra features that you get to make your ride safe.
In Audi A3, you get an electronic stability control system with ABS and Driveline Traction Control along with side-impact beams. Other features include dual-stage driver & passenger seat-mounted side & front airbags along with SIDEGUARD curtain 1st & 2nd row airbags, driver & passenger knee airbags, rear child safety locks, front & rear parking sensors, forward collision sensor, and a back-up camera. All airbags come with occupancy sensors.
