Furthermore, you get illuminated locking glove box, day-night auto-dimming rearview mirror, cargo space lights, and memory settings for driver seat and door mirrors. Also present are FOB controls for trunk, windows and sunroof. You also get added advantage of integrated navigation system with voice activation, tracker system, perimeter alarm, engine immobilizer, and four 12V DC power outlets.
Entertainment and Infotainment
All the standard gauges are present in the BMW M3, including the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, oil temperature, trip odometer, trip computer, systems monitor, outside temperature gauge, and analog display.

Engine and Performance
As we mentioned earlier, the 2016 BMW M3 is made to perform. You’ll have to be on the driver’s seat to feel the power, thrust, and speed of M3. The only trim is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-6 engine churning out 425 bhp at 5,500 rpm and maximum torque of 406 lb-ft at 1,850 rpm. Rear-wheel drive and 6-speed manual transmission are standard.
One can also go for the Competition Package that enables the M3 to produce 444 bhp. You even have an option for 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
The M3 is fast and furious. It reaches from 0 mph to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds and touch 100 mph in 8.5 seconds (from 0 mph). It can achieve top speed of 163 mph (governor-limited).
You can’t really expect much fuel economy from a performance-oriented vehicle, yet the M3 manages to perform well. It has an approximate fuel tank capacity of 15.9 gallons, giving it a highway cruising range of just over 400 miles. The highway fuel economy is estimated to be 26 mpg and city fuel economy is estimated at 17 mpg.
